Follow the instructions below to leave the Customer Experience program for Security Essentials

1. Open Microsoft Security Essentials
2. Click on the low arrow (next to the Help on the right hand side)
3. Click Customer Experience Improvement Program
4. Check I don’t want to join the Customer Experience Improvement Program
5. Click Ok

1. Extract the contents of your Windows DVD onto a folder you can easily get to onto the release candidate machine.

3. Right click on cversion.ini and select Open With: Notepad.
4. Search for: MinClient build number and change it so it is a digit less than it was before.
5. Save and run the windows setup from the folder to do the upgrade.

Follow the instructions below to change the Windows Live Mail message store.

1. Open Windows Live Mail
2. Click on the top left button and click Options
3. Click Mail
4. Click on the advanced tab (to the right of the Options dialog)
5. Click Maintenance
6. Click Store Folder
7. Click Change
8. Browse for the location of your mail store or the place where you want to change it to
9. Click Ok
10. Restart Windows Live Mail

Follow the guides below to fix the spooler issues:

1. Click Start
2. Click My Computer/Computer
3. Navigate to: C:WindowsSystem32spoolPrinters
4. Delete everything in this folder.
5. Restart the computer and attempt printing again.

If that does not work, attempt the following:

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type: regedit > Press Enter
4. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCONTROLSET001CONTROLPRINTENVIRONMENTSWINDOWSNTx86DRIVERSVERSION-3
5. Right click and delete the printer registry keys
6. Restart the computer.

If that does not work, attempt the following:

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Add/Remove Programs or Uninstall a Program
4. Click Turn Windows Features On/Off (left hand side menu)
5. Navigate down to Print Services
6. Make sure LPD and LPR are ticked, if not tick them.
7. Restart your computer.
