Spooler SubSystem App Stopped Working

Follow the guides below to fix the spooler issues:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click My Computer/Computer
  3. Navigate to: C:WindowsSystem32spoolPrinters
  4. Delete everything in this folder.
  5. Restart the computer and attempt printing again.

If that does not work, attempt the following:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Run
  3. Type: regedit > Press Enter
  4. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCONTROLSET001CONTROLPRINTENVIRONMENTSWINDOWSNTx86DRIVERSVERSION-3
  5. Right click and delete the printer registry keys
  6. Restart the computer.

If that does not work, attempt the following:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Click Add/Remove Programs or Uninstall a Program
  4. Click Turn Windows Features On/Off (left hand side menu)
  5. Navigate down to Print Services
  6. Make sure LPD and LPR are ticked, if not tick them.
  7. Restart your computer.
