You need to change your Date/Time on the computer so that it is correct, or the login servers will not be able to communicate with your computer.

  1. Close the Old Republic Launcher
  2. Click Start
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Time/Date
  5. Choose Change
  6. Set the correct Time/Date (also handy to click the Internet tab and make sure that you are getting the latest time from Microsoft’s NTP servers)
  7. Click Ok
  8. Now open the Old Republic Launcher

  2. Typecd include
  3. Press Enter
  4. **Type pico config.**h
  5. Type: # define SETPATH “/home/USER/hybserv/etc/settings.conf
  6. **Save **

Here is how you edit the Bit Torrent upload speed in Opera 9

  1. Open Opera
  2. In the Address bar type: opera:config _(This is a hidden settings panel for opera)
  3. Click Bit Torent
  4. In the Max Upload Rate field type the maximum upload rate (in kilobytes) you would like to go to.
  5. Click Save
  6. Restart Opera

If you restart your broswer and realise that the torrents are no longer downloading. Check your download folder and reopen them again.

hal.dll Corrupted/Missing Fix

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

Windows/system32/hal.dll

Please re-install a copy of the above file

  1. Boot using Windows Setup CD
  2. Go into the Recovery Console by pressing “R”.
  3. Select the appropriate Windows install
  4. Enter the administrator password
  5. Type the following in the console and then press enter (Each line is one different command)
  6. Attrib -H -R -S C:Boot.ini
  7. Del C:Boot.ini
  8. BootCfg /Rebuild
  9. Fixboot
  10. Restart PC
