SmartSound Quicktracks Plugin Issues

This issue commonly occurs on DVD Flick installations but also known for other problems that deal with video codecs. Follow the steps below to repair:

  1. Download the “Windows Installer Cleanup Utility”
  2. Install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
  3. Once, installed run the cleanup utility and select the Smartsound Quicktracks plugin listed.
  4. Remove the plugin and click ok
  5. Restart your computer and attempt your installation again.

Note: In some cases you can cancel or skip the error that is complaining about Quicktracks plugin and continue the installation.
