How to Normalize Audio in VLC Media Player

- Open VLC Media Player
- Click Tools
- Preferences
- Select Audio on the left hand settings pane.
- Check “Normalize Volume” box
- Set the normalize volume to: 1.6
- Click Show All Settings down the bottom of the dialog.
- Click Audio and select Filters
- Check Volume Normalizer
- Click Filters and click Volume Normalizer
- Set Number of Audio Buffers to: 10 and set the Maximal Volume Level to** 1.6**
- Click Save
- Restart VLC Media Player
