Setup Drive Spanning in Windows

  1. (Make sure you have no data available on the partitions, as this will erase everything)
  2. First you need to open Disk Management
  3. Right click on unallocated space
  4. Click Create New Volume
  5. Click Next
  6. Select Spanned Volume and select Next
  7. Select the disks you would like to add to the spanned volume and click Add
  8. Adjust any size settings you need to, then click Next
  9. Give the drive a drive letter (example G:)
  10. Adjust any formatting options, ie making sure the partition will be NTFS.
  11. Click Finish
