Reset the Waste Ink Counter on the Canon Pixma 1200

  1. Disconnect printer from AC power
  2. Press and HOLD the Power button, and connect printer to AC power
  3. Release the the Power button
  4. Press the Power button again

If the above method does not work, try the following:

  1. Press the resume button and then press power button
  2. Release the resume button and press 2 more times then release both
  3. Press and release resume 4 times and power 2 times.
