  2. Make sure the song you want to use as your ringtone is imported into iTunes
  3. Right click the song (within itunes) and select “Convert Selection to AAC
  4. Now the AAC song will appear in your Music list, Right click it and choose Options.
  5. Here you can change the start and end times for the song, allowing you to select part of the actual song you would like to use as a ringtone.
  6. Adjust the Start/End Time as you see fit and click Ok
  7. Right click the song and select “Convert Selection to AAC” again
  8. Once the conversion has finished, right click the song and select “Show in Windows Explorer”.
  9. The folder with the song listed will now open (usually on-top of iTunes).
  10. Right click the file and change the extension from *.aac to *.m4a.
  11. Once renamed, open the file up with iTunes again
  12. Your iPhone will now have the option of importing the song as a ringtone!
